Made to Last

All Island Inflatables boats are designed in Australia using high-frequency thermo welding (HFTW) techniques for all seams for guaranteed durability against the harsh Australian conditions. Our seams can handle heat and hot days easily, so you can relax and stay cool in the water. Plus, thanks to an overinflation valve, our boats are even more capable of withstanding hot weather, while ensuring correct air pressure is maintained.

Island Inflatables is Australia’s top-selling privately owned inflatable boat brand for good reason. For starters, all our boats are designed by us, rather than rebranding existing models. Integral to our boats’ outstanding quality is our commitment to using the strongest PVC available. You’ll find all Island Inflatables boats are graded at 1100 D-teck denier (0.9mm thickness) for improved durability. The underside of the boat also has an additional PVC layer to provide extra protection against rocks and shells when launching or moving across the ground.

At Island Inflatables, we want you to enjoy countless trips in our boats, whether you’re using them as a tender, for a spot of fishing or for some wild watersports action. Therefore, the sides of the boat and around the keel have specialised non-marking wear strips. This protects both your Island Inflatables boat and any other boats if bumps occur, as well as preventing unsightly rub marks. Similarly, we have ensured that our boats only ever use large, heavy-duty stainless steel tow rings, with large reinforced mounting patches. This means you can waterski or tube without seeing any fraying around the tow ring.

Easy to Use, Even Easier to Love

Another key aspect Island Inflatables considered during the design and manufacturing phases of our boats was portability and ease of use. This is why all our boats are fitted with internal rear carry handles, so a single person can carry the boat when inflated. If you’re trying to wrangle kids or just want some quiet time out on the water, this is a real lifesaver. Plus, ensuring the handles are on the inside prevents them from scratching your cruiser or yacht if you use this boat as a tender.

As our boats can be fitted with an outboard motor so you can really feel the wind in your hair, we have also taken great care in designing the transom area. All our transoms are coated with epoxy coating and rubber sealing, with an internal and external outboard mounting plate for easy and safe motor use.

Ride in Comfort

Additionally, we want you to have a comfortable, dry ride (until you’re ready to take a dip, that is). That’s why all our out tubes are oversized, enhancing stability. Similarly, we use one-way bungs so you can get rid of excess water quickly. Plus, you can sit back and relax in comfort as the grab rope is on the side of the tube rather than the top.

Stylish Design

Finally, you’ll find all Island Inflatables boats are carefully designed in terms of style and aesthetic. All models between 2 and 3 metres are predominantly white, with black accents, to complement any cruisers or yachts they may be tender for, rather than sticking out like a sore thumb. This also ensures that heat is reflected off the boat, making them more comfortable to relax in.
