Superior Craftsmanship for Maximum Strength

Our Island Inflatables boats are Australian designed using the latest “High-Frequency Thermo Welding” (HFTW) technology on all seams to withstand Australia’s harsh conditions. So you’ll never have an Island Inflatables seam come apart due to heat or hot days, thanks to HFTW.

High-Grade Material

Our Island Inflatables use the heaviest grade of PVC material possible before going into the commercial grades used in the armed forces. Today, we are using 1100 D-teck Denier/0.9mm thickness that is guaranteed to provide strength and durability.

Special Designs and Unique Features

A strong framework will determine resilience in the water. That’s why we incorporate oversized tubes into our boats to ensure comfortable, stabler, and even drier outings.

Speaking of stability, our transoms are constructed with marine ply coated in epoxy and finished with rubber sealing for extra strength. These transoms also incorporate internal and external outboard mounting plates for better support.

To get rid of trapped water on your boat’s floor, we included a one-way bung in our design. This simple component can drain any excess water while your boat is in motion.

You’ll just know the quality of our inflatable boats by looking at the tow rings on the front. Island Inflatables’ large heavy-duty stainless steel tow rings are mounted on an equally large and robust mounting patch, so you know it won’t get easily detached even in the harshest conditions.

Island Inflatables’ designs also pay attention to your boat’s wear and tear. Hence, to keep both the inflatable boat or tender and the larger cruiser protected from rub marks, we have used non-marking wear strips around the side and under the keel.

All Island Inflatables come standard with an overinflation valve, which will help with hotter days and increased air pressure.

On the underside of each large tube, we apply another layer of PVC material. This will help when you drag or launch your inflatable into the water. Plus, it gives that extra layer of protection against any rocks, shells, and anything sharp hidden in the water.

Island Inflatables boats have offset the grab or safety rope to the side of the tube instead of the top, so the rope won’t get in your way and you have a more comfortable seat.

But what stands out most with the Island Inflatables boats is the unique and very useful internal rear carry handles — our favourite design feature we came up with! Moving the handles from the outside of the rear tubes to the inside makes it possible for one person to carry the boat without much difficulty. In addition, as the handles are made from a harder material, placing them on the inside prevents them from scratching your cruiser.

Our handsome Island Inflatables are not short on great looks. It’s easy to tell, so much thought has been put into the colour schemes. You’ll find models from 2m up to 2.9m in white and black. This is because the boats this size are popular as tenders to larger cruisers and yachts. Therefore, our boats complement your pride and joy by blending in and not standing out.
